June 24th NO Show Recap & Links!
Posted by Tim on: 2006-06-24 12:32:25
    Where did we go?

Due to a problem with the radio station, we are no longer doing the show on WFBL. It was sudden, so we had no time to let people know. Not a huge deal really, WFBL really has so few listeners, we were offering 10-20 times more downloads of the show then we had listeners. The cost to be on the air would be cheaper for us to do it in our own "studio".

So, we are getting together this week to discuss bringing the show to internet only. This will allow us to do the show as long or short as we like and much more. We are also considering bringing in a producer for big name guests and again... more! All is in talking stages, but if we do go forward, we should be able to accomplish it within a few weeks. Being summer time, I dont think we mind taking some time off as the radio show required us to be in studio at 10 AM every Saturday and after a while it becomes difficult.

We want to thank everyone for listening. We have a lot of feedback, good and bad and believe we can make the show much bigger and better on the internet.

Please check back here later for information. If we do re-start the show, it will probably be found at MajorGeeks.com under a sub domain and we will provide that link at that time.

Thanks again, we appreciate each and every one of you.

Tim, Jim and Mike, The Technology Geeks.

How about a show like This week in Tech but also take calls via the Internet using something like Odeo?

Or you could all do the show via Skype.
